A/C Compressor Date Codes

The Back Plate on my 75 A-6 A/C Compressor has a date code of A035. (This translates to Jan 03, 1975). The Green Label also has a date code but is almost totally Illegible. It looks like...01??5? (This translates to Jan ??, 1975, ? shift).My question is this...How much difference should there be between the cast date on the back plate and the date shown on the green label? I have the repro label and need to print a date code.

Alger -- I'm no C3 C60 expert, but here's two examples; the first I showed in post # 23 of that long thread (link below) E_20_1 cast date on a non-superheat 6555302 back head, with sticker July 6_71.

Also a 1975 (GM A6, non-Corvette, but should follow the date spread) superheat type E_15_5 cast rear head 6556406, with sticker date code 052351 (May 23rd)
