Has anyone else having problems today logging onto the CF? I know a couple weeks back they had problems with someone trying to hi-jack the site . Just wondered if they tried again. All I get is errors when trying to log on. Thanks, Shooter

Re: Corvette Forum Problem logging on?
Was trying to log on with Internet Explorer and was getting the cannot connect error. When I try through Firefox I get a site called DupeDB.com so it looks like someone may have hi-jacked it. It's amazing what turns some people on???????????- Top

Re: Corvette Forum Problem logging on?
can't say since they kicked me off. Just before that though I was hit with virus there, that's almost a couple of months now. Looks like they PO'd the wrong person now because that seems to be a common problem over there from what I hear.- Top

Re: Corvette Forum Problem logging on?
No my handle is barred and since that hit I took with the virus over there I wouldn't go back. 10 years is enough and I'm not about to pay to post threads on rebuilding units. There are some good people there but also a lot of misinformation,at least in the areas I know of. New vette owners will pay the price overall by paying high prices for, at best, average work from their vendors.- Top

Actually, I only go to CF to read your postings. Your articles have a good "how to" description, although some of it I do not attempt to do. Seeing other people do a job is a great way to learn and it's nice to know how it's done. I hope that you won't stop posting your "how to" articles, and can find another forum. I don't now if the format of this forum would work for you, but your articles are about Vettes and they're technical, so I think that they meet some of the rules.

Re: Corvette Forum Problem logging on?
Not sure if my threads would be accepted here or not so when info is requested I refer to digitalcorvettes, all my work is there and I can post freely there.
In respect to CF.
I suspect the vendors on CF did not like the fact I posted on how jobs should be done, complained because they don't build them like I do so CF then wanted me to pay them $275 a month. That would allow me to continue to post tech threads there, supporting their site. I'm a hobbyist and take the time to build the best unit anywhere, time is not a consideration and I only use the best parts. So I guess I wasn't kicked off, I just didn't want to be strong-armed into paying monthly fees.- Top
