    Mine was done by Bill Thomas back in 1961 and Hayden Proffit ("Mr. 409") verified that it was a Thomas modified plenum back in the 80s (he and Thomas worked together).

        Tom, I see your workbench has Aero Kroil. Hard to believe how good that penetraing oil is. Problem is I didn't start using it till this past year. Happy New Year, John

            John,
            The bottom two pictures are not mine. I saved those only because they were good examples of welded plenums.
            I don't remember whose FI units those were.

                i sawed several apart at westinghouse research on the big do-alls they had there. after porting the welding lab put them back together. bolted them to the adapter plate as a fixture. they were not for me as i never could afford a FI corvette,it put me over my,mrs clems budget. i did it for guys who were drag racing FI back then who ran different cams etc. it was not legal in SCCA.
