Hi David, I wish I could get out of Maine this winter, but, the trip I have planned this summer will require much of my spending budget. I t was good seeing you early this year and I hope you drove your car this summer. Window still tight? I will take a ride to visit you this spring/summer, car will be all done and ready to go, before I head out on trip. See map.

You need to attend at least one Winter Regional. Excellent
show and great people. Maybe next year. I'll have a beer for you at the Blue Max. Will look forward to seeing you this spring/summer. I'm only 5 1/2 hours north of you in Caribou, Maine.

From another Orlandorian; I'll make a note of it. Went out this morning and did some red line runs to clean out the beast. Just put in a new battery, flushed and recharged the cooling system. Also (fingers crossed), put in a 180* thermostat. First time ever. Car was weened on a 160* and been running that way ever since. I still don't see running temps more than 160* (just a tad), but it is one of those "Hi-performance" jobbers with what appears to be more flow area. Picked up the same type in a new 160* for a spare just in case it don't run as well this next summer.

Yes guys! come on down and we'll leave the heat turned up!

I'm in Lakeland and my '58 is in my garage in Maine.
I envy your ability to drive this time of year. Hope to see you at Old Town. I have started a running list of those who
have indicated they might meet at the Blue Max. I'll keep track of this thread and update as we approach the meet dates.

Since we have an audience discussing the Florida weather and the Old Town show, I thought I'd interject a reminder of the informal gathering at the Blue Max Tavern at Old Town at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday the 21st. It will provide a chance to meet , match a name with a face and have a cold one. I'll post this again next week as a last reminder. Think warm temperatures!

Sorry for the mistake. We are scheduled to meet on FRIDAY the 22nd at 1:30. Senior moment? We did meet on Thursday a few years ago because of the conflict with judging. I think it's a good idea to meet both Thursday and Friday at 1:30 as suggested. Let's keep Friday as agreed and those who can meet Thursday or both do so. What is your read? Again, sorry for the confusion I caused.

i would love to but i wont be there until late friday. not bringing a car this year but i am bringing the wife and kids. we are going to stay a few more days and do the disney thing.
