Re: Chasing Past Owners -question
Hi Ed,
First off, Merry Christmas and I enjoyed the shots of your '72. I've got a good buddy with a Blue '72 Coupe with a black interior. He helped me ALOT during the resto of my Yellow '65 back in the mid-nineties.
If you knew how much time I've put into research of my other car, a '66 390hp convertible I've owned since '88, it would make your head spin. I've hit a dead end at 1976. I've got plenty of ideas and angles for you to try. I'm going to try the website you've posted here. Might as well. Thanks for posting this.
Take care,
Mike- Top

Re: Chasing Past Owners -question
Ed - my experience has been that most (if not all) DMVs will not let you search for prior owners online.
I had to mail in forms that I downloaded from various state DMV websites to do an owner search. They usually all say their records don't go back more than 10-15 years, but I found the second owners of my 70 when I was sent documents from the Indiana DMV that went back to the mid-70s.
Good luck.- Top
