Need help with C-2 Carpet question
I have just completed replacement of rear storage area carpet on my 66 coupe. ACC supplied seperate pieces for area above wheel well. I have searched archives for info about these pieces. Is it possible that 66 did not use them? If they did I could sure use a photo of installation detail.

Is it possibly the extra pieces were for the cover for the power vent on the 65 models? Was your set for 65-67?? If so I think this may be the case.

Thank you for the reply Lynn. I am hoping that this extra piece is for a 65 as I can not find a photo of the rear storage area for a 66. You would think that the vendor would indicate the extra carpet in his catalog or in the carpet documentation.

I have used ACC carpet sets in the past, but do not have or remember seeing a catalog from them directly, although I would bet some of the other catalog companies are selling their carpet. Some of the catalogs have drawings with the different pieces numbered on them.
Looking in the Corvette America Master Catalog (they have such drawings), they list the set for your car as "65-66 Coupe", and they have a notation in there stating "power vent carpet sections included in all 65 coupe sets". If it is just one extra piece for the top of the left wheel well I would bet that is what you have.
