'62 rocker panels (original or repro?)

How can I tell an original 1962 rocker panel from a repro?

Weight, thickness, measurements, finish, "curled" lip characteristics on the back side, ????

    Thanks,
    George

One way if NOS would be to have it in the original GM packaging. Usually there is even a date on the package

As far as I know the only thing Judged is whether there is black paint between the ribs. Early cars, before 6000 have no black. Cars between 6000 and 8000 could have or could not have and cars after 8000 have the black.
