    71 pinion flange information

    looking for the part number and specs for the large (u joint) pinion flange thast was used in 71, I know it uses a 1330 ujoint. What is the spline count and place to find one. I bought a 4.56 pig and it has the little flange. What years did they use until

    The part number was GM #3879208. It was used for 1968-70 with THM-400 as well as all 71-79. It was also used for many 66-72 passenger cars.

    GM #3879208 was discontinued without supercession several years ago. An equivalent replacement may be available from Spicer.
