    How is your French???

Nice forum topic on LeMans racing with Corvette's (with interresting pics):http://www.autodiva.fr/forum/viewtop...rvette+au+mans

    There were 3 cars:
VIN 2538: had the number 3 during the race. Drivers were John Fitch and Bob Grossman. It finished 8th overall and 5th GT. You will find it in picture 1 (restoration), 2, 3 and 4. This car seems to still exist.

VIN 3535: had the number 1 during the race. Drivers were Briggs and Bill Kimberley. It DNF because of an accident after 3 hours of race.

        Rob...Thanks for posting...great pics!

All...If you have Google on your computer, it should offer a translation after a moment or so...look just below the top toolbar. If not, try copying the link text and pasting into the Google search bar and when it opens the site it should offer the translation. If you have other search engines they may offer the same service.

        Neat article.

I should have pointed you toward the Google toolbar options icon, it's in the top toolbar. Drop down the menu and make sure the translation feature is enabled. Sorry for the unclear direction in the above post.

Anyone know who the supplier of those yellow lights are on either side of the grill? Are they still available? Jerry

Jerry, IIRC they are Marchal. I do not believe they are available. Might look on ebay. Most period used Marchal or Cibie.

Was the third Cunningham car that burned left in France---or so the story goes? Flammable liquid in the windshield washer reservoir?

Last we heard it was spotted in Florida........or was that Texas. Trust me, the 'chase' is always on for these missing great cars.
