Thanks Chris. As an added note, I looked up the "BC" ECL in Noland's book and it says BC was used with M35 for the powerglide but not used for:

    A31 - power windows
    A82 - Headrests
    A85 - Shoulder harness
    C07 - Auxiliary hardtop
    N03 - 36 gallon fuel tank

So assuming the trim tag is original, the car came with the powerglide.

        Bill,

You are sooooo gentle! Me, I would have said the odds of getting a correct Corvette are better than getting a correct Judge!

I inspected that car earlier this week for a friend. As others have stated, the headrest seats and power windows were added. PG cars are not my area of expertise, so I cannot comment on whether it was a PG car originally. I do, however, know for a fact that it did have a manual transmisison in it for at least a time. I reviewed the restoration album and the car had a four-speed and side exhaust when found and restored by a prior owner.

The car did indeed receive a chapter TF, and the judging sheets are with the car for review. The seller was very accommodating and forthcoming in my experience.

I did not note any anomaly in the stamp pad, though there is a deduct on the judging sheet for the pad surface. I qualify that by saying I am not an expert on stamp pads, but I compared to the original engine in my 67 427/390 car and did not note any significant deviation in the size, spacing, style, position of any characters. There are broach marks visible on the deck.

All in all, I am inclined to believe it is an original PG car. It does not make any sense that a person would create a trim tag to support the addition/conversion to automatic transmission, while not applying the correct ECL to support power windows and headrest seats.
