Does anyone have any success with any of the winshield scratch removal products available?

If you can feel the scratch with a finger nail, it's too deep and too late. They can be polished out but the altered surface will tend to act as a lens and distort the view through the glass.

There was an extensive thread a couple of months ago about a process that one poster used successfully to remove some very deep scratches. He posted before and after photos, and it seemed to work well.

I have used Eastwood 40011 sucessfully if you can't feel the scratches with the fingernail. Compound and wheel $47.

The key to any scratch removal process is PATIENCE. It is a very, very slow process. Check out Rich's thread that was mentioned above, he is using a professional quality kit with matching results.
