    63 FI with A/C?

    I was wondering if anyone knew if the alternator would fit on the drivers side without interference if someone wanted to add A/C to their 63 FI car? I know about all the other issues, I am just concerned with if the relocated alternator will clear the stock FI air cleaner assembly WITHOUT modification.

      tried it 40 years ago. didn't work then, doubt it will now. i thought about mounting the alt off the intake but hood wouldn't close. mike

          Thanks, I am trying to discourage the person from doing it. It's not a duntov car or anything like that. Just a custom. I appreciate your response Mike.
