Searching for previous owner in arlington,Texas

I am looking for the owner of my SWC in 1998 - Name is

Bill Adams , arlington, TX I was able to trace one previous owner so now I am down to 1998 and earlier.

I have the title # and p.o.box of the owners in Texas.

Anyone knows how I can trace them ? I have tried calling the local corvette club in Arlington, I am waiting for a reply maybe they have this person as past member or current one.

Have you tried one the the people finder sites ?. Zabasearch shows over fifty Wiliam Adams in Arlington Texas, it also shows their date of birth so you can narrow it down some more............

Call the library and ask if they have a Kole's (?sp) directory for that year that shows that name.....

Thanks for looking into this. I now found a previous owner/s in Oaklahoma who told me they bought the car from a guy in Whicita, KS however they told me the guy was a classic car dealer, or that he never titled the car in Whichita. I will try the DMV in KS however if he never titled the car there, it will be difficult. The genetlman I spoke to in oaklahoma , very nice guy but didnt want to go and look for old paper work, or see if he had any documents , he said heowned 40 cars since then, that was it.

I am sending a personal letter to the guy in oaklahoma with a photo of the car, maybe it will bring a tear to his eye and hell get me some crucial info on the car.

Thanks alot for checking , Texas is no longer the place to look at, car was in Oaklahoma before Texas, now I need to find a person who owned the car in Whichita,KS but never titled the car.

If the car was ever titled in Kansas, they would have the record of it. If it was purchased in Kansas new they would have records back to the original Kansas "Bill of Sale" when new and title application.

Maybe you can help me, found previous owner in oaklahoma, however I am now back to Texas, in 1985 car was sold by a dealership in fort worth, tx

I searched for this dealership , maybe its no longer around.

The name

David Lowe Motor Co, Fort Worth TX

The problem with Texas DMV is that they do not have records past 1992

I received paper work back from Oaklahoma , guess what previous owner lives in fort worth Texas. I called his wife,( he past away a year a go) she remebered the car and was really nice and kind and said she will look for information, however she couldnt find information for me. The Title indicated the car was purchased in 1983 from DAVID LOWE MOTOR CO. FT WORTH TEXAS I have looked everywhere online , can not find any information on DAVID LOWE MOTOR COMPANY. PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO MIGHT RECOGNIZE THE DEALERSHIP. I even called texas DMV office to see if this dealership was knows to them or ever was licensed there. It could be a name this person used to sell classic cars, I am not sure ....
The previous owner belonged to the Lone Star Corvette club, I sent an e-mail to the club president but no answer yet
