Duntov Award, an owners manual with VIN and State of California inspection data, a VIN dated trans. The only one that got a lot of traction was the award.

Is there a better site that helps link Corvette owners to serialized special parts of their cars?

Yet today there is another Corvette VIN'd tranny up for sale and may times these people selling them don't know what it was from nor do they seem to care that much.



The registery only has 1% registered - that is not even statistically significant.

Suggestions?

I understand your concern, but I don't think you are looking at the big picture. To do what you are suggesting is a big task. You are also assuming all those trannys, etc have not been restamped. Lets just look at 1962 Corvettes. 14000 plus made, how many do you suppose are still around? Out of that number how many have been turned into racers, restomods, etc.? Out of the rest there are lots of dailey drivers that the owners do not want to get into the numbers game, example, maybe they like there muncie a lot better than the old T-10. You see where this is going? The people playing the numbers game are watching for their parts so I don't think things can change much with a place to reunite parts with people. As for statement about the C1 registry, not everyone that owns a Corvette wants other people to know that they have one and where it is located. Just my old 2 cents
