most, if not all of the Mason Dixon events are scheduled on the weekend - would love to have you join - we have a meet coming up on Sunday, March 28th at Ron Adams Chevrolet in Havre de Grace, MD

Well guys, you convinced me, after careful consideration I believe I'm going to join a local chapter and it seems the Mid Atlantic Chapter is going to be the best fit for me. I don't know how I didn't consider it before, it is actually based the closest to home for me at approx. an hour and a half. I appreciate all the kind offers and advise. I am looking forward to attending some events and getting involved in the judging process at some point (hopefully).

Chuck, are you still coming back up here for Vintage Thunder now that you flew south? My wife and I have attended for the last three, I've seen you there but never introduced myself.

I shoulda mentioned that I'm a long time member of the Mid Atlantic Chapter too. I recently joined the Florida Chapter, so now I have 3 "chapter" memberships.

Probably won't make it back for Vintage Thunder this year. I'm told that there will be a change in venue. Supposedly, there was some scheduling conflict with Cecil County Dragway.

I don't know if it's official yet, but I was told that the event will be moved to 75-80 Dragway in Monrovia, MD. Monrovia is a tick below (south) of Frederick, MD.

75-80 is a neat old track. I'm no big drag racer, but I raced there 5-6 times in the years I lived in Maryland.

Don't move to So Dak, 4 to 6 hour drive, Minn Iowa or Neb.
