    C2 prices are down?

Not accordong to this 67 on Ebay. It's a 427/435, Marina blue with blue leather, M21, side pipes, headrests, driven 5,000 miles since restoration. Current bid: $98,656.

I think real cars, with real papers are still bringing good dollars - I would be real surprised if this car much higher because the dealer states alot of paperwork but yet only shows tank sheet and window sticker which are both available with whatever you want printed on it. No memtion of any judging? It's a good time to discuss $300.00 for confirmation. Will be interesting to see where it winds up.

      Larry,
Car will not sell below market value since seller has a reserve on it. You can bet it is a strong 6 figure number!

By the way this is a nice looking car despite the few things that are incorrect in pictures.

Reserve not met. Probably shill bidding got it to where it is now.

This car has been for sale on Ebay of at least the last 4 months.

All good points that y'all make. Apparently there are shill bids happening because of the unauthenticated documention, lack of awards, and the 5,000 miles driven since restoration (meaning it's no trailer queen). To me, that's a strong bid ($98K+).

I watched the Mecum auction intently this past weekend and feel strongly that prices are moving back upward.

It seemed to me that the vast majority of Corvettes didn't sell.

eBay is not a great source of comparison pricing. I would say C2 prices are down, after watching the Phoenix auctions this last week. Some good prices out there for '66 and '67 big blocks. These were top of the line units, but still 20-30% below a few years ago.

I noticed that in the pictures the car seems to have power steering, which is not listed on the window sticker. Not really a bad thing though. PT

That has GOT to be the worst fitting soft top I have ever seen. One would think they would try to improve on that. It sure did not come that way from the dealer. Bill

That window sticker is fake. My car is just a couple hundred after this car and the window sticker looks very different in both texture and in print. check out the numbers in the printed serial number:

                        Ebay Image:

                        My window sticker:

                        1995 Red/Red ZR-1 - Top Flight back in 2010 Michigan Chapter meet

[ love the looks of the car. It is what I bought new in 1967. Mine had the black vinyl hard top., I still have the window sticker. The window sticker on that car is not like my original . dale
