Small Diameter Fuel line Tower Clamp

With the L-36 engine on the '68 Corvette, there are 2 metal lines that come out of the GF 432 fuel filter. The larger of the two lines is for fuel and runs to the carburetor and the other is a small vent line with a short section of plain rubber hose near the top of the filter connecting the steel line to the filter. Two very smaller tower clamps keep the hose connected to the line. The diameter of each tower clamp is .5 inch or less. Does anyone know where I could locate 2 of these clamps? They are much smaller diameter than what is used on the heater hoses. Thanks for any solid leads.

      Joseph,

I checked with Bill and he did not have anything that small. Thanks for giving me his name. I'm still searching.

The only place that I have ever found them is a salvage yard. I do not think that they are Corvette specific, I believe all GM lines had them in the late '60's or '70's

          Hi Terry,
The fuel return line on my base engine 71 used a VERY small tower clamp at the fuel pump (2) and tank nipple (2).
Years ago Doc Rebuild had them. I'd be afraid to ask if he still does.
At one time Paragon had a very small fuel line tower clamp too. It imght be the size you're looking for.
          Regards,
          Alan
