Don, I don't have pics of a '58 in this combo, but pre-1964 there was a '60, possibly '59, with hardtop in Auburn, IN that was black, silver coves and blue interior that looked great. The blue interior with the black exterior really stood out and I liked it very much, so much I made a '60 SMP model of it with GM paint.

Not a 58 but this Black/Blue 67 is one of the cars I remember most from the last Bloomington Gold special collection. Very striking color combo not to mention rare.Attached Files- Top

Wasn't it wonderful when you could order a vehicle from a whole range of interior colors? The bean counters have certainly taken their toll on individual expression.- Top

For a 1958 the whole range of interior colors would be one of three - if you ordered a Panama Yellow I think you had your choice of Charcoal Interior. Was not much to think about when you placed your order.
