    It's a shame...

    I remember when this guy won these cars in the VH1 contest and sold them to Peter Max. They have just been sitting and rotting away in New York City all these years....

    I still have two of the tee shirts. VH-1 had a promo tent & was giving away shirts at one of the Corvette shows.

                I've got several t-shirts as well as two dashboard sunshades depicting the cars/contest. They did a short TV news video about the contest here in MN back then and my '89 (new at the time) was one of the cars shown as it was the newest model year to be a part of the giveaway. Really a shame what has happened to them, but at least it appears they could all be restored. I recall back then that the condition of the cars varied, and some were definitely 'driver' quality at best.

                    That's how we got the shirts & sunshades. I had forgotten about the sun shades. Dose anyone remember what Corvette showes they were at?
