    67 on ebay

    anyone get a chance to view the 67 427 on ebay item no 120529491495 maybe its me but something doesnt seem to jive with the stamp pad as well as the build date, comments?

    Yes I saw that car and stamp. I am no expert, but the stamp did look a bit ragged.

          Matching #'s, yes. Restamp yes. IMHO.

              Sure was not done by Don? in the Chicago area. His stamps were light years ahead of anyone during that era

                Yes, Don was ahead of his time on restamping. I've seen a lot of his work.

                  Looks like he had too much by the time he got to the "E".

                  How about these trans stamps?? - this guy is "trying" to tell me all 63-65 Muncies were hand stamped.

                  Look at these 2 ebays postings:

                  140373402178

                  140382811635

                  Mine and any other 66/67 I have seen are clearly straight and gang stamped.

                  Any knowledge on these stamps???

                    I know where there is a set of his stamps still being used today. They just updated a few of the characters and will pass muster most of the time, just like all the other restampers
