    67 BB Electrical Issue

    I'm getting close to the end with a body off and have a couple of electrical problems. I put all new harnesses in and for the most part things went well when I first checked things out. When it comes to electrical issues I'm not very handy. Here's my problem. The left front parking light doesn't come on and the left turn signal doesn't work. Probably related. The left rear light comes when when I turn the left signal on but doesn't blink. The hazard lights do not come on and blink either. Everything worked before I took the car apart to start the project in 07. If anyone has an idea on a couple of things to try I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

    Hello;
    If you replaced the directional switch, plug the original switch into the harness and see if it solves your problem(s)
    Also make sure the front directional light wiring plugs are pushed together completely. Sometimes a little lubricant will help.
    The flasher will only work with the correct load.

    And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
    I hope you dance

      Ray, I didn't replace the turn signal switch but will check the connections. Thanks

        Steve,

        I agree with Ray, take a test light to the plug at the front fender plug to see if power is there. It may just be the plug connection, I had thatbproblem on my 67.

        Flasher will not break to flash without load so all lights need to be working..

          Thanks for the help guys. As it turns out the problem ended up being a loose connection. I'm sure it will not come loose again until right before the judge asks me to light em up!
