    The '67 seat belt installation is in UPC 1-Asm, sheet F18; I can post the '63-4-5-6 sheet numbers if you need them.

        Thanks John. I just wanted a clue where to look on the chance the early 1968s had the same kind of retractor as '67s. I ran out of time last night, and needles in haystacks are no fun. This is real close to trying to prove a negative, but I want to give it every chance -- especially since we are doing the interior section of the 1968-69 manual now.

            I have an original second edition dated Jan 1968 which HAS the retractor statement on page 32 and also on page 33 as described above.
            It says "for retractor equipped cars....." implying an option.
