Hi all, while rebuilding my vette I found a business card behind the fresh air vent. Does anyone know of Custom Car Co.
They specialize in Performance and Luxury Cars.
8530 Locust Road
Elverta,CA 95626.
I have no idea how old the card is or if they are still in business.
Any help appreciated

Well the address is currently a 93 acre horse ranch. Elverta is a rural community just north of Sacramento. It is hard to tell where Rio Linda ends and Elverta begins. Those Rush Limbaugh fans will understand that last sentence.

This is not an industrial or commercial area and it was likely someone, maybe even a ranch hand, working out of a barn on the property. Maybe with dueling banjos playing in the background. I checked with the California Secretary of State business search and there is no record of a corporation or LLC under that name.

I'm just South of Sacramento and maybe I'll take a Sunday drive up that way just to se what I can see this weekend.

Thanks Michael, it does sound like a strange place for a " Performance and Prestige" workshop.
In the '70s the car lived in Crescenta and Roseville. It had a rollbar and a scatter sheid intalled. Maybe it was drag raced?
