56 fuel filter to carb connection

OK, what type of tube is used to connect the carburetor to the fuel filter (the glass bowl type)? This would be for a single four application if it matters.

I would say about 1 1/2 brass pipe

Brass pipe, 1 1/2 inches long? Is that what you are saying?

Yes round pipe type , it's just so long so that when you start one end into the Carb and filter at the same time you can tighten them with out the filter touching the Carb. Same as my 55 , 57 should be the same ! Guessing on how long that is!
