Re: 69 idle control solenoid
The solenoid bracket is NOT the same as the tri-power solenoid bracket nor is the associated clamp the same as the tri-power.
The tri-power bracket and clamp are now being reproduced but I don't know if the others are. If not, a used piece will be about your only option.
The solenoid, itself, is available in the automotive replacement market as manufactured by Standard Automotive Parts. In configuration, it's very close to the originals. However, the "numbers" are, of course, different. Otherwise, there are NOS examples of this solenoid around. What you'll be looking for is a GM #1114421.
By the way, not all 1969's, particularly early 1969's, with C-60 had the solenoid. Are you sure yours did? Is there any evidence of its having been installed (e.g. an unused wire in the engine compartment)? In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 69 idle control solenoid
I too have a 69 350/300. I am positive the 350/300 did not have the solenoid. I researched this awhile ago and felt comfortable entering my car to be judged at the regional level. I did not have a problem and received no deduction for not having one.- Top
