63-66 Guide mirror, gap or no gap?

In regards to a NCRS car show, would a car show judge want you to have a gap or no gap appear on the mirror glass on the 63-66 guide mirrors. When doing the pencil point/gap test? I would appreciate any feedback I could get as to the correct way this mirror galss should be installed into the mirror? Also in a NCRS car show judgeing event would the gap or no gap apply for the 61-62 guide mirror? Thank You For Your Feedback On This Matter.

Re: 63-66 Guide mirror, gap or no gap?

Joyce, have found it best to use a credit card held on the mirror face at a 45 degree angle. Some astute member showed me that trick. Pencil point gap reflections are often hard to see. My notes say that 61-2 exterior and 62 interior mirrors reflections touched. Hopefully, Rev. Mike will provide his 61-2 expertise to answer your question. Understand after 62 mirror reflections touched - no gap. Gary....
