I find it easier to start at the front of each bank 1,3,5,7, etc. wire looms first one is cylinder 1, on so on right down the line, try to keep from crossing wires in the looms and may sure the wires are not going to rub up against sometime that will cause a problem down the road. as a mechanic Ive install many sets and attention to detail is what you need, sopply installed wires just don't make a engine compartment look good. if you have all the correct attachments for the wires it should look as it left the factory.the aim may give you all the detail too.

Graeme, it is a red striped hose that attaches to the front of the "coffee can" type actuator.
