I am just finishing a body off on my buddys '63 Split window, 327- 340 HP Corvette. It was changed over from drum brakes to disc brakes when he bought it around 1980. It has the 68-72 non power brake style master cylinder on the car. My question is what year brake line should I install from the left rear junction block to the master cylinder. He has come back with a couple different lines from Paragon but they are not close. Thanks in advance. DCY

Re: Rear brake line from left rear to master cylinder
Is there a proportioning valve below the master cylinder? Which end doesn't match up, rear or front when using a line from a 67 or newer???- Top

Re: Rear brake line from left rear to master cylinder
Thanks for reply Stephen. There is no proportioning valve connected to the master cylinder. I don't know if I should get a rear to front line to the master cylinder as used on a 1965 power brake master cylinder which I have on my '65 car. From the looks of things it appears to me to be very close to what I need. We tried a non power line for a '65 and it was too short. The only other option I guess is to buy a length of steel line and add the fittings to it and also bend it to shape. DCY- Top
