'58 Rear Glass Body Ridge

Can anyone tell me if all "58 Corvettes have the horizontal fiberglass formed ridge on the body that runs side to side inside the rear bumpers? The ridge also boxes out the openings for the bumper brackets. Just curious if this was an addition later in production or part of production from the git go.

Thought I would kick this back to the top to see if there might be a response. My gut feeling is that all "58's had the ridge/shelf.

I know they had them, I would assume all did.

David, my 58 was built late may and I have the ridge you refer to.

I believe that all 58-60 had this ridge/shelf

Had 58 sn 297, ridges on all 58s. Should have rivits that held it together when the bonding glue was setting.
