    fuel line insulation

What would anyone recommend I use to insulate the stock steel pump to carb fuel line on my '67 L79( know this isn't "as delivered to dealer" but I think "heat soak" after turning engine off may be boiling the fuel in line forcing it into carb and out booster venturis causing "flooded" hard hot starts).
    Thanks

Bill, I would find it hard to believe that fuel would perk. in a fuel line, more than likely in the float bowl of carb. you may even have a float level thats to high or a heavy float causing fuel to dribble into carb after shut down. there may even be the possiabilty that some very small is stuck in the needle and seat.
