68 Caliper mount finish

Sorry for the simplicity of the ques, but I dont have my JG handy. What is correct finish for 68 caliper mounts? Plater says 68 are cad or zinc, i.e. silver, my understanding is 68 should be dichromate - gold iridite. which is correct? (March 68' car BTW)

Older threads look very clear that it is dichromate, gold iridite.

1969 were definitely dichromate-finished over zinc. I'm almost certain that 1968 was, too.

Joe,cadmium diachromate dipped over zinc, for 70-72. it had a very light goldish finish. the 68-69 maybe the same as you said.
