Re: ebayer problems
You as a buyer can request the personal contact info on the seller via eBay. It's an automated deal so there is no waiting. Once you have a name and a phone number, you can start making phone calls to his house. That should clear things up quicker than email or working through the eBay conflict resolution process.
Either that, or post his name and address here and someone local can go whup a knot on the boy's head for ya...- Top

Re: ebayer problems
I've never had any dealings with him but like Tom pointed out he has 154 positive feedbacks. Of those only 9 appear to be as a seller. For all of us that have sold on Ebay you "treasure" your feedback and try your best to keep it 100% positive. Before you leave a negative feedback please try contacting him directly. Feedback is like that genie, once out of the bottle it can't be put back in. Hey Erik, what kind of search did you do.- Top

Re: ebayer problems
Mike:
There are other avenues you can pursue outside of Ebay and Paypal if you want. Most state's attorneys-general have an internet fraud division which you can contact. The Feds also have an internet fraud division. If you know his address, contact the local police and see if they have any other complaints against him, maybe they might make a house call. If he used the mail system in any way, you can contact the postal inspectors and see what they will do as part of their "mail fraud" enforcement. Usually just the threat of the above gets some action. Years ago, I did file a complaint with the feds, they sent something to the other party (don't know what it was) but I got the refund.- Top

Re: ebayer problems
From a ex-eBay parts seller who sold about $250K worth of parts to buyers (including to a well-known, likeable ole doc),...... here is excellent advice on this thread:
