Indentations

I'm getting my 1960 ready to paint and have a difficult problem to post on here. But I'm gonna try,
Between rear quarter panels (fenders) and rear of door jams, where the panels meet horizonally, is there supposed to be a small indentation to the feel or should it be filled and blocked out smooth.
Hope someone out there knows what I'm asking. I don't know quite how to explain it, but sure need help.

That panel is not absolutely flat if thats what you are asking.

Junior, I believe you can feel the bond line on most original, non-filled, C1 cars in that location. I can feel and slightly see on mine.
