Is the white bail tag for a 68/69 master cylinder a judged item? Although specified in the judging manual, the actual scoresheets do not seem to have a specific line item for this. The judging manual states that the tag is attached to the rear bail. Can you tell me if the attachement should be on the inboard (engine) side, or on the outboard (fender) side of the rear bail? thanks. Hank 46075

Re: 68/69 master cylinder bail tag
The bail tag is judged -- and any item does not need a specific line or mention on a line to be judged. The bail tag is part of the master cylinder and is judged on that line. There are lots of other items that are not specifically mentioned on the score sheets and some that are not even mentioned in the TIM&JG that are judged. It we mentioned everything the score sheets would be a lot longer.
You can place it wherever you want on the bail, but if you operate your Corvette very much the heat and wind from the fan will move it around. It doesn't matter where you put it to start with, it will seek equilibrium.Terry- Top
