    Welcome Kevin
    You will love the club.
Members are great and the subscription a real value. I have never had the feeling they were in it for the money. Many of the other clubs were started as a business and it shows. NCRS is a great club.
    Welcome aboard.

Welcome. Lots of good information here and in the archives. Be sure to look at the NCRS pubs, very helpful - several different options for the Restorer magazine on cd.

If you have not begun to receive the quarterly publications - "Driveline" is on line. There is a link on the home page. In addition to services/parts/cars for sale, there are information pages about National, Regional, and Chapter events you may be interested in attending.

                  Thanks for the warm welcome.

My car has numbers matching drivetrain, paint(945) & interior(400)-all that has been changed is the horn and the alternator. So I will try to hunt those pieces down. My goal is to keep the car as original as possible.

But I also have a few things to shake out yet. The anti-theft alarm sytem is currently inop and the windshield wiper motor has a clicking noise when activated and the car could use some new shocks - but I am not sure if OEM shocks can be found - So I will be checking the forums for advise soon....

If you don't already have them, get you an AIM, service manual and judging guide for your year model. With those references and this discussion board you will be ready to tackle the world.

Welcome Kevin, I to have a 72 bryar blue car and there are a few more that converse on this site with us. looking forward to answering any question you may have.

for your alarm system you will have to make a few tests one is at the key switch, power at one side and then when you rotate the switch power at both termanils, and you should be able to hear the relay click on, the one under the jack storage compatment. once armed the door and hood switchs complete the circut by grounding the termanils from door or hood to alarm horn.let us know how you make out.

Wiper motor clicking sounds like the washer pump maynot be indexed right, if not properly installed, each rotation of the motor hits the pump arm causing a lot of nosie.

Kevin, I had the alarm inop problem on mine, also. Check the posts. I first checked mine at the alarm, found circuit OK to there and had to replace the alarm. Good luck with yours and welcome!
