'68 Under hood Blackout

Judging manual states wire clips were installed on inner fenders and firewall before blackout, therefore, rivets would be painted. Were the rest of the brackets and plates installed before or after blackout i.e. windshield washer reservoir mounting bracket; horn relay mounting bracket; hood hinge support brackets; voltage regulator mounting bracket; radiator overflow tank mounting bracket? If these were installed after blackout the rivets would be unpainted. Is this correct?

If it is solid riveted, and its in the area of coverage, its blacked out.

I believe from what I learned in John Hinckley's seminar yesterday (see earlier thread), that all of the reinforcements you mention would have been installed as the front clip was assembled and therefor before blackout. Any of the rivets on the inner side (engine compartment) that were in an area that received black out would be painted with the blackout paint.
