Anybody in Corvette land had the task of re-installing power windows on a 61-62?
It seems to be a real treat installing the motor on the regulator assembly since one can not fit the whole assembly into the door cavity with it completly assemblied. Fitting my big fat hands into the opening with the regulator loose so I can mount the motor to it is not a good experience or pleasure. Initial securing with a bolt to position the regulator against the wind up spring is the only way I've found to get it in. Any hints to a more efficient assembly?
One other question, is one turn initial wind up on spring correct?
