    Idler pully bushing replacement

Does anyone know if you can replace the bushing only in the Idler pully? If so where do you get it?

Bushing or bearing. I am not aware of any idlers with bushings, but
WTFDIK? Anyhow, the bearings are readily available from most auto parts stores. You will not find it listed by application in any catalog so take the numbers from your old bearing and they should be able to cross reference it.

Thank you for your opinion Dick Whittington ofWTFDIK, your absolutly wright there is no bushing; and it is a Bearing for the idler arm. The reason I and others like me come to this site is to learn from experts that have learned from someone else before them. To teach us as they have taught you or them. Not with a nose in the air; I'm better than you attitude.

So the answer to the replacement of a BEARING for an idler pulley for your information so you may be more educated as I am now; is they are available through Long Island Corvette for $31.00.

Thanks Dick for replying and please go easy on us that are learning.....as you did at some point in your life when you were learning. Intimidation makes me think not to use this site with people who are demeaning.

Rob, just so you know, WTFDIK has a good idea, taking the number of the old brg. and bring it to a Napa auto parts store or equiv. may save you a few bucks, long island is going to charge you shipping and the price of the brg. they are buying is likely from a same supplier.
