    Grease and heat

The heat from the crossover exhaust pipe on my 270-HP engine is heating the chassis grease from the inner ball-joints and causing it to break down into oil viscosity and dripping on to the floor. Have others had this problem and how did you rectify this problem?

    Thanks for any information!

Do you have an IR gun to check just how hot they are getting? Never had this particular problem. Have you check timing etc to be sure everything is as it should be? Is the choke opening as it should? That pipe should cool down after choke opens all the way.
