    Best Glue

I'm ready to put the engine suffix tag on my 73; any ideas what product works best for this application? Thanks to ALL!

Glen, I used the 3m spray tack adhesive, the problem is, a can of this isn't cheap, but if you know a autobody or auto repair shop they may help you out.

      Re: Best Glue

I use Avery label paper and hope for the best. It's already got adhesive on it, and then I usually recommend getting the valve cover as clean as possible before applying.

Actually there is a newer product that is supposed to be "resistant" and better for "outside" environments that I've tried once or twice. No feedback yet.

The 3m adhesive "may" result in a soggy label depending on what you used to make it.

Oh, I know that mine will tolerate it.
Not knowing what Glenn used, if it's just regular paper then it'll be a mess.
