That depends on the year. Some judging guides do call for them.

The key envelope was introduced with the 1968 Production Corvettes and "called out" in the 1968 and some of the newer AIMs. There is no "call out" of an envelope in the 67 Corvette AIM. Check the DB Archives for some extensive and interesting discussion on the topic. Pete
