Re: 69 conv. under dash support braces
I just found something interesting in my 69 AIM concerning the under dash brace rods. I know there has been a lot of discussion about these braces but I thought this might shed some more light on the subject. My car which is a big block convertible has all the braces (total of 3) except the two small braces in the upper left corner on the drivers side. While studying my AIM UPC C60 sheet A9 I noticed that these two braces I am concerned about are labeled "PROD BRACE RODS", they are not listed in the parts list for this page and do not have a diagram number assigned to them. Could these be temporary braces that were only used during the assemble of the car? If so maybe I do not need to be concerned about them missing from my car. Thanks for reading.
