    Correct Pulleys For 1962 340hp

    What is the consensus on the correct water pump and crank pulley for the 1962 340 hp corvette ( mine is early production January 1962)?
    There seems to be a lot of opinions whether a 2 belt system ever existed originally in 1962.
    Please help!

      If you are referring to the picture in the aim with the idler pulley, no original car has ever been seen with that setup to my knowledge. Mine is October and is a single belt system. (360hp)

              According to a previous post the correct single groove pulleys are;
              3724816 for the water pump and 3756328 for the crank pulley.
              The balancer is the large finned one PN 3817173.

                  John, November built 360 HP engine, also a single belt system. 10 Years ago I had a March built 340 HP car & it was also single belt.
