    Great Ad

    Although not a tech question . . . There's something special about beautiful cars running flat out. My mother sent me this link (gotta love mom) and it's a really great video - best with the sound up loud. I just wish it was done with vettes that span the years.

    Excellent Won't be politically correct enough to run in this country. Makes me want to go for a spirited drive and listen to side exhaust.

      There is a long story behind the making of that commercial. They flew those cars all over the world to make those videos. It cost mega-bucks.

        To say nothing about the costs incurred in clearing the streets for the shoot.

          I love the change in pitch and sound level as the generations go by....neat stuff.

          Agreed that we oughta be able to make a "generations" video like that at ANY NCRS or Bloomington meet.....plenty of cars there and plenty of willing people who would take a camera man for a ride. I'll volunteer to hold the camera.

            There should be a Corvette commercial like that. Can you imagine starting it out with a '53, followed by a '57 fuelie, and maybe one of the late 50s racers, how about a '63 split window, maybe a Grand Sport, a '67 big block . . . . . . There's almost sixty years of Corvette history that could be packed into a two minute commercial. I'd like to see that.

                One of the very best commercials ever made. A real shame Chevrolet wimped out and withdrew it after a little controversy. If they had stuck to their guns they could have received a lot more publicity. BTW: It is called "A Child's Dream." The then-husband of Madonna produced or directed the video, but I don't know enough about those folks to remember his name.

                  Hey Terry;
                  I pretty sure my religious education taught me The Madonna's husband was Jesus.
                  I know it's a stretch, but.
