So members may not make the same mistake, should you disassemble a TT Steering column for a C3, be sure and mark the Long Shaft and Short Ball Shaft during disassemble. They can be mistakenly reassembled 180 degrees off. That causes the turns signal cancelling cam to be out of phase 180 degrees. This was a lesson learned the hard way, but practice makes perfect.

BTW, I have a complete set of instructions on rebuilding and repairing the C3 T&T steering column. The possible misassembly of the steering shaft at the plastic tilt joint is reviewed as well. The Saginaw locking steering column is unforgiving if the steering shaft is 180 degrees out of phase. (The turn signal cancelling requires more than 180 degree turn of the steering wheel.)
