    Is part #1119 12VN 003E 8G correct for a 62 corvette.

      According to the 61 - 62 Judging Guide the voltage regulator number is 1119002E.

          What application does the above have? Could it be used on a 62 vette? It has the Delco on the case vs generic.

              Essentially, every 12v Neg grd Delco-Remy VR out there could be used on a 62. The originals were 35 amp (002) 001's were 30 amp. I believe that an 003 is a 35 amp. The 8G indicates July 1968, 78, 88, 98, or 2008 production.

                  Thanks Mike. I happen to come by on another site and it has the Delco Remy made in USA on it.
