I was just wondering if there is any difference between a '63 and a '64 non air radiator support. I am working on a '63 340 HP 327 car. I have chance to purchase a used support but am not sure of any differences. I know a FI support is different and do not want one. Thanks.

One difference, and there might be others, is that the early '63 supports do not have the oval hole on the passenger side through which transmission cooler lines pass.
Relatedly, early '63 fan shrouds do not have a clearance notch in their mounting flanges for these same cooler lines.

Here's a photo showing those distinctive '63-only formations on the front of the support where the horns mount (this one is for an F.I. car).Attached Files- Top
