Well I took her out for the first spin in over two years. Albeit around the block with no windshield. Still picking the bugs out from all the grinning

Thank you for everyone's support! Still a long way to go but at least I got to hear her run.

Running better than ever and purring like it should!

BTW: I was not sure I would the stock exhaust but frankly it sounds great!

Still working on getting the tips to align but I am getting close.


Thanks again!! Just wait for all the dumb questions next winter when I do the rear suspension

Very cool Bill. I know that feeling. When I finally got my 69 back from the paint shop and the engine running, I took her for a spin, no doors, no lights and one seat partially bolted in along with a lap belt. My only concern was that I live a couple blocks from the State cop shop and had to drive by it to get out on the main road for a short spin. Fortunately no one was looking for that brief outing. Good luck this winter with the rest. Jim

I know that feeling about the police. I have two in my neighborhood. They could have pulled me over if they wanted to.
