Hello,
I have a cousin that has a 2001 Corvette and the turn signal switch is defective. I picked up a new one from my local chevy dealer and plan to install it myself this weekend. While I'm an ex ASE Master Mechanic, I got out of it a while ago and I would like to know if it is possible to replace this unit without removing the steering wheel. It appears that the steering column cover below the steering wheel splits into two pieces so I would be possible to sneak this unit in without messing with the steering wheel.
Thanks,
Joe
