Dan -- no, no; I'd parked my '65 coupe elsewhere on the beach and was walking with my camera when I took that shot.

I'd be embarrassed to post a pic of my (then) ride; blue metalflake with silver striping and red interior; flares and sidepipe headers, had an off-road Z28 service cam #3927140. Originally a L79 with 4.11s, silver/red VIN 12555.

Oh..... I understand now. So you probably don't know the two sun bunnies then either? Oh well, it's nice to remember when you were young! And Daytona Beach is still a nice beach. They still let those that want drive the car on the beach.

Hey Ken what show was that? I think the Camaro and Firebird club had planned on a show at Deerfoot mall but I thought that was on Sunday? Probably cancelled now anyways.....

By the way Wayne that's a really nice pic. Every time I see a pic like that I wish that I had grown up in that time and that place!

Sooooo are those hood and headlight gaps typical for a production car or do you think it's been in a body shop or two?

Hi Greg, the show was put on by Corvettes Unlimited of Calgary at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino with Mr. Ron Fellows as a quest, signing autographs and such. The show went on as a "Snow & NO Shine event. Apparently they raised a fare amount of money for a local charity. No way would I put my 79 out on a day like they had.
